Hey Celestial friends!

There have been a lot of (exciting!) announcements this week, so I wanted to collect everything here for you so you can join in with all our community events. :)

READATHON & READING HANGS

Our last readathon was such a success and a beautiful weekend in community. I'm so excited to have scheduled the next one AND two reading hangs.

These all happen in our Discord - be sure to connect your Bindery account for a special role and access to special channels.

Our next readathon will be Friday August 30th - Saturday August 31st. (RSVP on Discord here.)

The PERFECT way to end the month and finish a last book ... or two books ... or seven books?? The rules for are readathons and reading hangs are simple: there are none! Join when you can (popping in and out is totally cool) and do your best to get some reading done while chatting and getting to know the community a bit better.

AND to tide us all over until the end of the month, there are also two reading hangs on the calendar.

Thursday August 22nd (tomorrow!) from 9:00-11:00pm ET(RSVP on Discord here) and Monday, August 26th from 1:30-3:30pm ET(RSVP on Discord here).

I'll continue to schedule these at different days & times to accommodate friends joining from around the world.

BOOK CLUB

For the first time ever ... we're doing a live book club!

Our book for July/August was Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White, and that's what I'll be discussing live on YouTube on Sunday, August 25th at 1pm ET.

You can submit your thoughts in advance (using the Google Form here). During the live, I'll read through the submissions and the chat will be open for additional comments and discussion. The recording will be posted & pinned in our HFWU Discord channel afterwards (unlisted link).

RSVP for live book club in Discord here, or save the YouTube link directly by clicking here.

And finally, the vote is live on Fable** **for our September book club pick. There are still 24 hours left to vote, but currently This is How You Lose the Time War has a massive lead!

Woohoo! That was a lot to throw at you, but ALL GOOD THINGS, right? Thanks as always for being part of this special community, and I'm always around to hear feedback and to chat. :)
